Franciacorta Brut-
Formerly Cuvee Imperiale Brut was not labeled as Franciacorta as Pinot Noir grapes were sourced from Oltrepò Pavese. Ranked in the top 10 for number of awards won among wines from this region: the Vinalies Internationales awarded Gold and the Japan Wine Challenge awarded Silver. APPEARANCE: Soft, dense, foamy mousse, with a long-lasting delicate cordon around the glass. AROMA: Crisp, rich, and elegant, fairly lengthy and with lovely depth. It releases generous fragrances of apple, pear and citrus. Displays an exceptional freshness and zesty acidity, with a velvety texture and fine balance, concluding with appealing notes of citrus PAIRING: The perfect aperitif, it will also pair well with most dishes, such as casoncelli (ravioli) and fresh-water fish (perch and char). It brings out the best qualities of dishes featuring rice, pasta, light meats, salt-water fish, fresh and medium-aged cheeses.
